About Richard D. Latham

RichardLathamCulturalArts_Medallion_smRichard D. Latham is a longtime supporter of the arts in Smithville. His “Possibility of Public Art” program has inspired many local art projects including local historic murals, the “art on a stick” program, a fire hydrant painting project, a bronze memorial for a catastrophic event in 1908 at the railroad, and the train sculpture at Riverbend Park. His vision continues to inspire the Smithville Cultural District to make art accessible and to support our history and culture.
