Public Art in Smithville

Richard Latham believes in the “Possibility of Public Art in Smithville” and has tirelessly worked to make it happen both by personal participation, donation of supplies and by recruiting others to the creative cause.

Public art and opportunities to create abound in Smithville.  Historic murals are painted on and in many of our local buildings. Beautiful masterpieces can be seen in seven of our nine public parks.  Sculptures are also abundant as well as use of other mediums in public settings.
